The human immune system has been an area of scientific interest by both academia and the pharmaceutical industry for several decades. Since the discovery by Dr. Kimishige Ishizaka in 1966 of IgE –the core of allergy systems – allergy has become one of the rapidly evolving fields in therapeutic medicine. Major progress has been made, including the cloning of the IgE receptor as well as elucidation of the mechanism of IgE production and the signaling pathway of IgE. Despite these accomplishments, no definitive therapy has been established.
By employing proprietary technology we developed through intensive study of the immune regulating system, REGiMMUNE is addressing this unsolved problem and expects to deliver therapeutic solutions for patients suffering from allergies.
